Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

A growing General Contractor is looking to add a Construction Accountant to its Dallas team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of construction accounting experience who is looking to develop their career within a stable and growing business.

• Manage project accounting and job costing across active construction projects
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
• Maintain and review WIP schedules
• Support subcontractor billing, pay applications, and lien waivers
• Reconcile accounts and assist with cash flow tracking
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate project cost reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure accuracy of project financial data within the accounting system

• 3–5 years of construction accounting experience
• Strong understanding of job costing and WIP reporting
• Experience working for a General Contractor, Developer, Home builder, or Construction-related business
• Knowledge of AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
• Experience using Foundation software is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
