Accounting Specialist

Under the general direction of the Director of Finance, the Accounting Specialist will assist with financial operations. This position will perform a variety of technical tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to, payroll, benefits, and backup payroll processing; reconciling cash and other accounts; budget, audit, and reporting support; reconciling various general ledger accounts to subsidiary ledgers; support various accounts payable tasks;

and preparing journal entries as required.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field with pursuit of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred.
