Location:

Montgomery/Conroe, TX area

Schedule:

Part-time, onsite Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break

Duration:
Approximately 3 months, maternity leave coverage

Position Overview:

Our client in the Montgomery/Conroe area is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist to provide maternity leave coverage for approximately 3 months. This onsite role will support the accounting team with full-cycle accounts payable responsibilities and requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and prior AP experience.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Enter, review, code, and process vendor invoices

+ Assist with weekly check runs

+ Manage and support positive pay processes

+ Maintain accurate AP records and documentation

+ Work with internal team members and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies

+ Use Excel to track, reconcile, and organize accounts payable information

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Previous accounts payable experience required

+

Experience with invoice entry, coding, and processing

+ Familiarity with weekly check runs and positive pay

+ Intermediate Excel skills required

+ High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail

+ Ability to work independently in an onsite environment
