Southwestern Asset Management | Comanche, TX | Full-Time | Hybrid (In-Office by 2027)
At Southwestern Asset Management (SwAM), we invest in real assets with a philosophy rooted in principal protection, conservative underwriting, and long-term stewardship. We're a small, intentional team doing meaningful work right here in Central Texas.
We're growing, and we need someone who thrives in the details.
The RoleAs our Operation & Investor Services Associate, you'll be the organizational backbone of our firm. You'll own the administrative and operational workflows that keep our investor relationships running smoothly — from onboarding paperwork through ongoing communications and recordkeeping. This is a hands-on, in-office role in Comanche where your work directly supports the leadership team every day.
This is a high-ownership role at a boutique firm. You won't be one of fifty people doing a narrow task. You'll matter, and your work will show.
What You'll Do- Manage investor onboarding paperwork and document workflows
- Maintain organized investor files, records, and CRM data
- Serve as a key point of contact for investor inquiries and document requests
- Support compliance and regulatory documentation processes
- Coordinate internally on capital call, distribution, and reporting workflows
- Handle day-to-day administrative functions that keep a fast-moving firm on track
- Help build and improve operational systems as the firm scales
- Experience in a detail-oriented, document-heavy professional environment — backgrounds in banking, title, insurance, real estate, agricultural lending, or financial services are all relevant
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Trustworthy, discreet, and professional — you'll be handling sensitive investor information
- Strong written communication and comfortable interfacing with high-net-worth individuals and financial professionals
- A self-starter who takes ownership and figures things out
- Proficiency with common office and document management tools
- Ties to the Comanche area and a desire to plant roots here long-term
- Experience in alternative investments or private placements is a plus, but not required — we'll teach you what you need to know
SwAM is a tight-knit team built on trust, alignment, and doing things the right way. We're not a large institution — we're a firm where your contributions are visible, valued, and directly tied to outcomes. We're proud to be headquartered in Comanche, TX and we serve a growing network of RIAs, family offices, and institutional investors across the country.
If you're someone who finds satisfaction in bringing order to complexity, takes pride in doing things right, and wants to be part of something that's still being built — we'd love to talk.
