Operates PBX or multiline telephone Cisco/Finesse phone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel by performing the following duties.

• Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers.
• Focuses on First Resolution.
• Works in a Call Center environment.
• Schedules appointments for family practice providers.
• Creates telephone encounter for Specialty offices.
• Processes refill requests for family practice providers within proper criteria.
• Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
• Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
• Maintains virtual fax, sends faxes, and retrieves and routes incoming faxes.
• Clinic front desk duties when needed, patient check in/out, collect copays.
• Handles provider letters mailed to patients.

Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or

Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to speak fluent Spanish preferred.
