The Wind Plant Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Plant Manager and is responsible for providing administrative support to assigned wind and/or solar sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily reviews and timely closure (TECO) of all work orders.
  • Manage site inventory, update Availability Focused Inventory, submit weekly orders and conduct monthly cycle counts, maintain an organized stockroom.
  • Ensure timely receipt of inventory.
  • Update Bill of Materials as needed and release Preventative Maintenance Work Orders per company policy.
  • Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders; ensure coding accuracy and timely closure upon receipt of goods/services.
  • Complete timely receipts and estimated accruals in SAP within five days of goods/services receipt.
  • Assist the Plant Manager with Large Corrective Maintenance processes (work order creation, crane bid, heavy haul, etc.).
  • Order office supplies and materials as needed; set up new vendors and work with vendors to ensure invoicing.
  • Plan and coordinate company functions such as team building events and regional meetings.
  • Assist personnel with training and troubleshooting of Mobility application and provide IT support.
  • Provide timely and professional responses to requests (reports, emails).
  • Assist on new fleetwide initiatives, operation changes, and related support.
  • Produce reports from SAP for operational and budget performance management.
  • Provide support during quality audits of plant administrative practices.
Required Qualifications
  • HS Diploma/GED and 1–3 years of comparable administrative experience (or equivalent education/experience).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to set up Windows profiles, email, printer access, desktop shortcuts; interface with Helpdesk for network/local server issues.
  • Typing and proofreading skills.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP or similar data‑entry programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be able to use SAP.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience maintaining inventory controls, purchasing, and receiving activities.
  • Hardware skills – moving electronic equipment, knowledge of network access, printers, peripherals.
