Campus

Description:

Gustine ISD is seeking a highly organized, professional, and student‑centered individual to serve as the campus receptionist. This position is vital to the daily operations of the campus and serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced school environment.

Key Responsibilities Front Office & Communication
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for campus visitors, phone calls, and parent inquiries
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional front office environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and community members
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately
Clerical & Administrative Support
  • Provide direct support to campus administration and staff
  • Maintain student records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with attendance tracking, documentation, and reporting
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and campus communications
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and campus scheduling
Support Student Needs while Maintaining Campus Safety Protocols
  • Coordinate with staff regarding student information and documentation
  • Utilize district systems (e.g., student information systems, email, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
Campus Operations
  • Support substitute coordination and staff needs as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with district procedures and policies
Required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general technology use
Preferred
  • Bilingual
  • Previous experience in a school or office setting
  • Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., Ascender)
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
