Position:
Card Services Specialist I
Full‑time, in‑office position. The Specialist I manages daily operations for the credit card program, including card and printer supply inventory, distribution, and compliance with card guidelines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Support daily operations for Instant Issue and Merchant programs and credit card portfolios.
- Manage printer balance reports and branch support for balancing inquiries.
- Conduct daily research on debit card, prepaid, and other card services related products and services.
- Process card requests for all markets (maintenance, reactivation, limit adjustments, uploads, reloads, transfers, reorders).
- Log, process, and destroy cards received for return or hold mail in a timely manner and within issuance guidelines.
- Provide branch telephone support for process questions and issues related to all Card Services products.
- Update and maintain daily inventory tracking reports for multiple third‑party card vendors.
- Review daily credit card wire settlements.
- Process secure credit card portfolio payments.
- Maintain daily, monthly, and quarterly reports for management groups.
- Process debit card requests for all markets.
- Support Return Mail processes.
- Process incentive/referral payouts for merchant services.
- Coordination – Adjust actions in relation to others.
- Critical Thinking – Identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
- Speaking – Convey information effectively.
- Time Management – Manage one’s own and others’ time.
- Service Orientation – Seek ways to help people.
- Writing – Communicate effectively in writing.
- Systems Evaluation – Identify performance indicators and improvement actions.
- Systems Analysis – Determine how a system should work and how changes affect outcomes.
- Judgement and Decision Making – Choose the most appropriate action based on costs and benefits.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- College diploma, some college, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Outlook, and office equipment (printers, phone systems).
- Knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Competitive typing skills on a personal computer.
- 1‑2 years of customer service, administrative support, or similar clerical experience.
- Experience with logistics and/or procurement preferred.
