Primary
Purpose:
Manage and assist PEIMS personnel in supporting campuses in maintaining accurate attendance, scheduling, and mark reporting records. Manage and assist PEIMS personnel with the collection and verification of all elementary Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to use a personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets and do word processing; strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain accurate and auditable records; ability to analyze, problem solve, and meet established deadlines; proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills; knowledge of PEIMS preferred. - Experience:
Two years of experience in a support position requiring collecting and entering data; experience using coding systems preferred.
Evaluate the Student Data Clerk and the Student Data Specialist.
Physical and Mental Demands- Tools/Equipment:
Standard office equipment, personal computer and peripherals. - Posture:
Moderate standing; occasional kneeling, squatting, bending, and stooping. - Motion:
Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching. - Lifting:
Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds). - Environment:
May work prolonged or irregular hours; occasional district wide and statewide travel. - Mental Demands:
Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.
