Job Summary

The Business Clerk provides administrative, document control, and onboarding support to project teams by managing electronic records, maintaining internal data systems, coordinating meetings, and assisting with Day 1 onboarding activities. This role requires a highly organized individual with strong communication skills who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while delivering excellent support to field employees and project teams.

Job Description
  • Perform document control responsibilities, including the timely retrieval, storage, numbering, sorting, and filing of electronic documents produced by clients, pursuit teams, or departments.
  • Maintain internal project data and records.
  • Generate and maintain SharePoint sites.
  • Coordinate and arrange internal meetings and events, including agenda preparation, meeting invitations, room reservations, and setup of facilities and virtual conferencing resources.
  • Assist with Day 1 onboarding activities for field employees.
  • Provide administrative support while ensuring accurate, timely communication and organization across project teams.
Skills Required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional administrative setting; A/E/C industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to provide examples of administrative projects managed from conception through completion.
  • Experience navigating various online platforms to access client documents and information.
  • Experience using modern collaboration technologies such as SharePoint and virtual conferencing tools.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and active listening skills.
  • Ability to take direction and provide timely updates on task progress.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the work location.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred
  • Previous experience with SAP and/or Success Factors preferred.
  • Background in craft recruitment preferred.
  • Previous HR onboarding experience, preferably supporting high-volume hiring projects preferred.
Education/Training/Certifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Additional Requirements
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the work location.
  • Regular working hours are 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Candidates may start earlier if preferred, based on business needs and supervisor approval.
Pay Rate/Salary
  • Pay Rate $21 - $25/ hr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
