Administrative Associate III – Agency Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service Department, County Program D06
Job Location:
Fort Stockton, Texas. Job Type: Staff.
- Perform word processing, desktop publishing, presentation, and data management activities, and assist staff with the use of these applications.
- Compose correspondence, reports, publications, and presentations, including editing and proofreading.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
- Research and analyze administrative requirements for specific programs or projects.
- Provide technical information regarding administrative procedures, services, or programs.
- May perform mail services.
- Apply, interpret, and communicate policies and procedures and serve as a resource for answering questions about policies.
- Maintain a variety of fiscal, administrative, and academic records. Post information to agency records and modify forms or records.
- Verify, process, and review forms, reports, and other documents.
- Make arrangements for meetings, appointments, conferences, and travel.
- May set up meetings, seminars, and other special events, including facilities, equipment, and food.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment; retain office reference materials including online office materials.
- May deliver, pick up, or receive cash payments, documents, supplies, equipment, or materials.
- May coordinate activities and assign work to student workers and support staff.
- May participate in hiring, training, and supervision of student workers and other support staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience.
- Three years of related experience.
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Compensation is commensurate based on the selected candidate’s qualifications.
