Duties will include:

• Inspect and assess tires for damage, wear and tear.
• Repair punctured tires and replace worn-out tires
• Mount and balance tires on wheels
• Perform basic brake repairs and maintenance
• Possess basic knowledge and use of automotive diagnostic equipment
• Record and maintain tire inventory. Report inventory levels to supervisor to ensure optimal stock on hand
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and well-organized work area
• Use various hand and power tools to perform tire services.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions and at times in austere locations
• Available to work long hours and respond to after hours call outs

• Knowledge of tire types, sizes and tread patterns
• Ability to use various tire service equipment and tools
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy tires
• Time management and organizational skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills for inventory management

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Previous experience in automotive repair or tire service is preferred
• Completion of tire technician training program or certification is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
