Position Summary
Cecil Atkission Motors is seeking a dependable and motivated Lube Technician to join our service team. This entry-level automotive position is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services while delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, battery testing, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance services
- Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs and report findings to service advisors
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
- Ensure all work is completed according to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work area
- Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Assist technicians and service staff as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous automotive or mechanical experience is a plus, but not required
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to work in varying shop temperatures
