Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices - Automotive Mechanics — Join our team as a full-time Automotive Mechanic at our service centers in the Marshall, TX area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of undercar repairs (brakes, struts, shocks).
• Complete state-mandated inspections.
• Change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Assist with on-the-job training and pursue opportunities for career growth within the company.

• 18 years of age or older; legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s); ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
• Active position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching, and repetitive movements; regularly lifting and/or moving items weighing over 50 pounds.
