Purchasing Agent (Dietary Supplements Specialist)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Purchasing Agent to join our fast-growing Manufacturing & Packaging organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the fundamentals of purchasing and supply chain operations while contributing to a collaborative, supportive team. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and excited to grow within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

• Assist with the procurement of raw materials, packaging components, and supplies to support production schedules
• Create and process purchase orders in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status
• Track and follow up on open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Support inventory management efforts by monitoring stock levels and identifying replenishment needs
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, vendor files, and documentation
• Collaborate with production, warehouse, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies or issues
• Learn and follow company purchasing policies, procedures, and quality standards

• Procurement, Supply Chain or Operations Experience a bonus but not required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset
