Vos Missions En Quelques Mots

The city welcomes 850 kindergarten and 1300 elementary school students in 8 school groups/schools as well as 600 children in recreational facilities. Education is a priority, the community has a territorial educational project. It has been implementing the adjustment of school schedules for over 20 years and offers children aged 6 to 11 years after-school activities around four axes (sports, culture, health, and citizenship).

The educational actions service, responsible for organizing these different times for the child, consists of 1 manager, 2 coordinators, 11 after-school directors and 9 assistants, 54 full-time animators, and about 50 part-time animators. Within the educational actions service, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the moral, physical, and emotional safety of children:

• Participate in different times of daily life (morning welcome, meal times, snack time, etc.) respecting and enforcing hygiene rules.
• Arrange spaces according to the activities offered and the needs of the children to ensure their safety.
• Establish a relational framework of trust and act as a mediator within the group of children by managing conflicts, ensuring respect for the rules of life, and facilitating listening, exchanges, sharing, and mutual respect.
• Respect the rules of supervision of the children under your responsibility: supervision rate, regular counting of children, application of reporting or alert procedures in case of incident or accident.

• Implementing animation projects and pedagogical approaches in the structures:

• Offer varied activities in line with the pedagogical project of the structure and adapted to the specificities of the audience received.
• Implement and carry out the animations.
• Accompany the children's projects to bring them to fruition by promoting creation and discovery, especially through play.
• Ensure the follow-up and evaluation of your animation projects quantitatively and qualitatively.

• Participating in the functioning and enriching the life of the animation team:

• Participate in the elaboration of the pedagogical project with the director of the structure and in the establishment of the modes of operation of the structure.
• Actively participate in team meetings and contribute your knowledge and skills.
• Share the information in your possession with the animation team and report to the director of all particular situations (functioning, families, children, partners, etc.).
• Follow the inventory and census of material needs, clean and organize the premises intended for the ALSH.
