Qualifications- Education/Certification:
- Child Development Associate credential or Certified Child Care Professional credential with six college credit hours in management
- Valid Child Care Center Director's Certificate issued by the Texas Department of Family Protective Services
- Thorough understanding of childcare center operations
- Effective organizational, communication, computer, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coordinate center functions
- Ability to implement policy and procedures
- Demonstrated knowledge of state childcare guidelines and licensing requirements
- Ability to manage budget and personnel
- Two years experience in a licensed childcare center
