Floater, Child Care​/Nanny

Overview

We are seeking a floater to join our Family. This individual will plan and present age-appropriate activities for children to promote intellectual and creative growth. Will provide stimulating activities for the whole child.

A teacher must have great love and patience for children. We seek candidates with high standards and believe that the care and education they provide are invaluable. Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices, preschool educational methods, and the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention. The goal is to contribute to the child's healthy mental and emotional development so they can more easily acclimate to the next level of education.

And create a partnership with parents.

Job Type: Full-time

• Must have CPR /First Aid training
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
• Communicate with parents on children s growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all children.

• Passionate about working with children
• Professional with parents/staff/peers/children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Professional at all times (with staff/parents/peers)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CDA, Associate, Bachelor, or plan of study leading to one of the above-mentioned to qualify for a Lead position. Must be in early childhood or related field
