Safety Managers are responsible for supporting and enforcing safety policies and procedures on LPR projects. Must have a deep understanding of safety management and the ability to lead the safety program independently at assigned project. The position is project based and background check is required.

Required Skills- Develop, implement and/or administer site-specific safety plans in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Lead safety training and orientation sessions for new employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions. Level 1 may participate in investigations with a more senior safety manager.
- Monitor compliance with safety standards and ensure all personnel are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and craft workers to address and resolve safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate safety records, including inspection reports, training logs, and incident documentation.
- Develop and conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety practices and procedures.
- Ensure that all personal protective equipment (PPE) is available, in good condition, and used properly.
- Implement and monitor the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) process to identify and mitigate risks before work begins.
- Utilize safety data analytics to track leading indicators and develop strategies to prevent incidents.
- Promote and enforce the use of Stop Work Authority, ensuring that all employees have the right to halt unsafe work conditions.
- Communicate safety performance and initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders (customers, insurance brokers/carriers and peer trades).
- Associate's degree in safety management, construction management, or related field;
Bachelor's degree preferred - 10 years construction safety experience - OR - CHST credentials with 5+ years relevant safety experience
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
- Strong leadership, communication, and training skills
- Ability to analyze safety data and implement effective solutions
