Location: Texas
Employment Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Placement
Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel; project-driven onsite position. Project Per-diem Available.
We are seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to join our team, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment across our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational and industrial safety, particularly within heavy field construction, Data Center, and BESS projects. This role requires hands‑on experience, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to fostering a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety programs in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead and mentor teams on safety procedures and best practices.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
- Promote and influence a culture of safety across all project teams.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in occupational and industrial safety.
- Proven experience conducting safety inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
- Demonstrated success in implementing safety programs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Experience in heavy field construction, Data Center, and BESS projects.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and influence teams.
- Completion of recognized safety training programs (CSST, OSHA 30, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Fire Safety, First Aid/CPR).
- Professional safety certifications are a plus (OSHA 500, CHST, CHSO).
- Experience training and mentoring employees in safety procedures and compliance standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and PROCORE.
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and maintain safety documentation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in safety reporting tools and basic office software (Excel, Word, PROCORE, etc.).
- Commitment to continuous professional development in the field of safety.
- Willingness to travel as required by project assignments.
