Safety Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Safety Specialist to join our team, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment across our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational and industrial safety, particularly within heavy field construction, Data Center, and BESS projects. This role requires hands‑on experience, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to fostering a strong safety culture.

• Conduct safety inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety programs in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead and mentor teams on safety procedures and best practices.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
• Promote and influence a culture of safety across all project teams.

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in occupational and industrial safety.
• Proven experience conducting safety inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
• Demonstrated success in implementing safety programs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Experience in heavy field construction, Data Center, and BESS projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and influence teams.

• Completion of recognized safety training programs (CSST, OSHA 30, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Fire Safety, First Aid/CPR).
• Professional safety certifications are a plus (OSHA 500, CHST, CHSO).
• Experience training and mentoring employees in safety procedures and compliance standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and PROCORE.

• Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Ability to identify hazards, implement corrective actions, and maintain safety documentation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in safety reporting tools and basic office software (Excel, Word, PROCORE, etc.).
