Construction Tech-EDS

Airswift is seeking a Construction Tech professional to work in Carrizo Springs TX for a 12-month assignment (subject to extension). We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist in the oversight of the construction of 25 kV overhead and underground power line systems. This role requires collaboration with the Construction Foreman to supervise crews, coordinate outage repairs, and ensure the safe and reliable re‑energizing of power lines.

The successful candidate will also oversee line monitoring, work with Construction Foremen and Electrical Engineers to develop designs and material lists for new and expanding electrical distribution system projects and fill in for the Construction Foreman during their days off and PTO.

• Assist in the supervision of construction crews for 25 kV overhead and underground power line systems.
• Coordinate outage repairs and processing for safe and reliable re‑energizing.
• Oversee line monitoring to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with Construction Foremen and Electrical Engineers on the development of designs and material lists for electrical distribution projects.
• Fill in for Construction Foremen during their days off and PTO.
• Be available for after‑hours and weekend callouts.
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing power poles as required.

• Must have 3‑5 years lineman experience.
• Must be available for after‑hours and weekend callouts.
• Ability to climb power poles.

• Minimum:
  High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred:
  College Degree.

• Must live near Dilley/Pearsall, TX.

• Daily and weekend on‑call requirement.
