Foreman / Field Representative – Sierra Blanca, TX

Join USA Rare Earth and play a critical role in building one of the most strategic rare earth mining projects in the United States. This is more than a field role—it’s a front‑line leadership position at our Round Top Mountain site, where you’ll oversee construction today and help shape full‑scale mining operations tomorrow.

What You’ll Do

Early Works & Construction Phase

  • Oversee daily contractor activity (earthworks, road building, site prep)
  • Ensure work meets specs, drawings, and schedules
  • Conduct inspections, track progress, and manage field reporting
  • Enforce HSE standards and MSHA compliance
  • Support site mobilization and readiness

Mining Operations Phase (2028+)

  • Serve as USARE’s on‑site representative during open‑pit operations
  • Monitor drilling, blasting, load/haul, and production performance
  • Review contractor reports, production data, and equipment usage
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Act as the key liaison between USARE leadership and contractor teams
What You Bring
  • 7–10+ years in open‑pit mining or heavy earthworks
  • Experience overseeing contractors in a field leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and site operations
  • Familiarity with drawings, specs, and quantity verification
  • Solid understanding of MSHA and site safety practices
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
Bonus
  • Owner‑side project experience
  • Contract mining or performance management exposure
  • Experience with GPS, drone surveying, or quantity tracking tools
Work Environment
  • Full‑time, on‑site in Sierra Blanca, TX (Round Top Mountain)
  • Outdoor, desert environment with real, hands‑on impact
