Field Superintendent – Telecom & Security Systems
Location: Childress, TX (Project Site Near Amarillo, TX)
Pay Rate: $50–$75 per hour DOE + $150/Day Per Diem (7 Days/Week)
Schedule: 50+ Hour Workweek
We are seeking an experienced Field Superintendent – Telecom & Security Systems to lead low-voltage construction activities on a large-scale industrial/high-tech project. This role is responsible for overseeing subcontractors, managing schedules, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and driving project execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise telecom, security, and low-voltage electrical subcontractors on complex construction projects.
- Coordinate daily activities with project teams, contractors, engineers, and clients.
- Manage project schedules, RFIs, submittals, QA/QC programs, and cost controls.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, and project specifications.
- Resolve construction, design, and field installation issues.
- Support project staffing, planning, reporting, and contractor performance management.
- Review and interpret construction documents, specifications, and technical drawings.
- High School Diploma or GED required; degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of low-voltage electrical, telecom, or security systems construction experience.
- Experience with large industrial, mission-critical, data center, or high-tech construction projects preferred.
- OSHA 30 Certification required.
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage distribution systems, UPS equipment, and structured cabling installations.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
