Project Manager​/Estimator, Disaster Restoration, Reconstruction

Hallmark Mitigation & Construction is hiring a field-based Project Manager/Estimator for Commercial Disaster Restoration. We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the restoration business, and a willingness / ability to learn more.

• Ability to review fire, smoke odor, soot, flood, mold or water damage to various structure types, and determine an appropriate scope of work to bring the structure to a pre loss condition.
• Ability to communicate the scope of work, both verbally and written, to customers and interested parties, some of which may have a different opinion.
• IICRC training, familiarity with the EPA guidelines and Texas mold laws are a plus.
• Construction Management experience is a plus.
• Understanding of the roles of insurance Adjusters, consulting Engineers, Industrial Hygienists, and when to consult with them.
• Candidate will be expected to understand the variables that affect construction cost and schedule.
• Ability to use Xactimate.

• Willingness and ability to self-perform small construction tasks.
• Capability to perform “Job Hazard Analysis” (including potential ACBM’s, lead paint, open pits, etc.).
• Perform “Site Safety Training” for employees and vendors.
• Written and verbal communication with customers
• Supervise and maintain contract compliance with all subcontractors and vendors.
• “If required” solicited, vet, and manage subcontractors, and work with Project Coordinator to prepare subcontract agreement.
• Work with Project Coordinator to update the schedule at least 1 time per week.
• Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Maintain a copy of all contract documents, subcontracts, surveys, or other information as required.
• Track our tools and equipment on all jobs. Check in and out of our inventory system
• Clean equipment after each job
• Prepares onsite informational updates to be delivered to Project Coordinator.
• Other duties as determined by PC.Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience in construction management and in fire, water, flood and wind damage restoration.
• Must have Valid TX Driver’s license with a clean Driving Record.
• Must be able to pass a background check (no DUI's and no Felonies) and drug test.
• Must have Xactimate experience and the ability to write extimates.
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, RS Means or other estimating platform with a willingness to learn more.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to determine job specific tasks required to meet job goals, tools equipment and materials required to meet the goals, and manage other performing the tasks.

Salary is based on experience. We also pay Quarterly Bonuses based on job profit.
