Heavy Equipment Operator

The Operator I is responsible for operating heavy machinery at a construction site.

• Safe and proficient operating of a single machine, either:
• Trackhoe
• Follow instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.

• Present yourself in a professional manner that is in line with the company culture.
• Follows safety and other regulations when handling and operating equipment.
• Uses equipment for its intended purpose only, protecting it from damage and misuse.
• Always performs work in a safe manner.
• Avoids shortcuts that increase health and safety risks to self or others.
• Maintains emergency supplies and/or personal protective gear.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members.

This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a construction setting outdoors, in remote locations, and routinely uses physical abilities to perform tasks throughout the construction site. Travel required.
