The Middle School Jazz Band Director provides specialized musical leadership for the school's jazz ensemble, introducing students to the fundamentals of jazz theory, improvisation, and performance. This role focuses on fostering a high-energy, creative environment where young musicians can develop their technical skills and appreciation for the jazz genre. The Director oversees all aspects of the ensemble's development, ensuring a smooth transition for students from concert band to more specialized jazz performance.

The director is responsible for at least one concert and other performances.

The All-City Chorus Director provides unifying artistic leadership for a district-wide honors ensemble composed of premier vocalists from five elementary schools and the middle school. This role is responsible for bridging the various school music programs to create a high-caliber, cohesive choral experience. The Director manages the entire production cycle, from talent identification and auditions to the final public performance, ensuring a professional and collaborative environment for students, parents, and school music faculty.

All-City Band Director provides unifying artistic leadership for a district-wide honors wind and percussion ensemble composed of premier instrumentalists from five elementary schools and the middle school. This role is responsible for bridging the various school instrumental programs to create a high-caliber, cohesive concert band experience. The Director manages the entire production cycle, from talent identification and auditions to the final public performance, ensuring a professional and collaborative environment for student musicians, parents, and school band faculty.

The Director of the Spring Musical provides artistic leadership and administrative oversight for the school's largest theatrical production, managing the project from initial casting through the final curtain call. Primary responsibilities include developing a comprehensive rehearsal schedule, managing the production budget, and spearheading publicity efforts to drive ticket sales and community engagement. Beyond performance coaching, the Director collaborates with student and staff designers to supervise all technical elements including set construction, lighting design, and costume procurement to ensure a cohesive creative vision that meets high production standards and safety protocols.

The Assistant Director of the Spring Musical provides essential instructional and operational support to the Director, assisting in the management of the school's largest theatrical production from auditions through the final performance. Key responsibilities include facilitating music and drama rehearsals, assisting with casting decisions, and helping to coordinate the technical integration of set design, lighting, and costumes. Additionally, the Assistant Director supports the oversight of the production budget and contributes to publicity efforts, ensuring a unified artistic vision and a well-organized environment for the student cast and crew.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Minimum (60) College Credits required
* Minimum of Substitute Teacher certificate required
* Prior coaching experience preferred

* Seasonal coaches (Schedule B-1) shall receive their contracted stipend in two equal payments determined by the following schedule:

Fall: 50% - September 30, 50% - November 30

Winter: 50% - December 15, 50% - March 15

Spring - 50% - April 30, 50% - June 15
