Receptionist, Customer Service​/HelpDesk

Overview

Village Veterinary Center in Cross Roads, Texas seeks a Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality care to clients and coordinating with the veterinary team to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent client service.

• Be the Director of First Impressions: Manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and ensure every interaction reflects compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: Maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions to keep the hospital running smoothly.
• Advocate for Pet Health: Educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to support optimal pet wellness.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: Provide a calming presence for clients, showing empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.

• A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred.
• A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
• The pay range for this position is $15-$20 per hour based on experience.
