We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative who will also serve as a Cylinder Dispenser Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality customer service. The Customer Service Representative plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing timely, accurate, and courteous assistance. This position involves managing customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently. The representative acts as a liaison between the company and its customers, fostering positive relationships and promoting brand loyalty. Success in this role requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and clear communication.
Ultimately, the goal is to enhance the overall customer experience and contribute to the company’s reputation for excellent service.
This position will also serve as a Cylinder Dispenser Operator who is responsible for safely filling and dispensing propane into DOT-compliant cylinders and other approved containers, following Texas LP‑Gas Safety Rules. The applicant must complete and pass an 8‑hour course covering the proper filling and handling of ASME motor/mobile fuel containers, appurtenances, DOT cylinders, and dispenser operations.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in telephone customer service or a related role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform required duties effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with customer account management systems.
- Ability to successfully complete Railroad Commission Certification.
- Experience with Point-of-Sale system.
- Demonstrated problem resolution skills in a customer service setting.
- Multilingual abilities to support diverse customer bases.
- Training or certification in customer service best practices.
- Experience with filling of propane bottles
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via telephone and other communication channels.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints by identifying problems, researching answers, and providing appropriate solutions.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all account information is up to date.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and improve service delivery.
- Operate bottle station equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines; communicate professionally and courteously with all customers
- Perform repairs, valve replacements to propane bottles as needed
- Dispatch incoming propane orders to drivers through computer system in a timely manner
- Ability to multitask between bottle station and office procedures, as necessary.
