Guest Services Team Member

The Texas Zoofari Park is seeking enthusiastic, friendly, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Guest Services Team Members. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere and ensuring every visitor has an exceptional experience.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing outstanding customer service.

Guest Services Team Members are responsible for assisting guests with admissions, reservations, questions, and general park information while maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest areas. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to every guest.

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit.
• Assist guests with admissions, reservations, memberships, and general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Process payments accurately using cash registers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other payment methods.
• Promote and upsell memberships, animal encounters, events, feeding opportunities, and other park amenities.
• Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of guest areas, facilities, workstations, and surrounding grounds.
• Assist with guest flow, crowd management, and special events as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly and follow all cash-handling procedures.
• Monitor guest areas and report any safety concerns or maintenance issues to management.
• Prioritize and complete tasks efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a positive guest experience.
• Follow all park policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience handling cash and operating cash registers or POS systems preferred.
• Ability to effectively promote and upsell services while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent time-management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Dependable, punctual, and self‑motivated.

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the duration of a shift.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and adhere to park grooming standards.
