The Texas Renaissance Festival is seeking energetic, dependable individuals to serve as Beef eaters
, the first point of contact for our guests. In this role, you will greet patrons, verify admission, conduct entry screening, and help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone attending the festival.

• Welcome patrons with enthusiasm and professionalism in the King's English.
• Scan and verify admission tickets, remaining alert for invalid or fraudulent tickets.
• Ensure adult and child tickets are used appropriately.
• Inspect bags and screen guests for prohibited items, including outside food, and beverages.
• Verify that all costume weapons are peace-tied and secured according to Festival policy.
• Monitor entry areas for disorderly behavior and report concerns to a supervisor.
• Help maintain an orderly and efficient entry process.

• This is an outdoor position requiring extensive walking and standing.
• Employees work in varying weather conditions, including prolonged exposure to heat and sun.
• A Renaissance-period costume is required throughout the workday. The Texas Renaissance Festival provides the Beefeater hat and doublet; employees are responsible for the remaining costume pieces.
• Must be comfortable interacting with large crowds and enforcing Festival policies in a courteous, professional manner.
• Seasonal position only
• Festival operates 8 weekends, October 10 – November 29
  , including Friday, November 27
• Mandatory training day on September 19th
• Mandatory dress rehearsal on October 3rd
