What You'll Do:
- Professionally clean teeth through comprehensive scaling and polishing
- Administer topical fluoride treatments with accurate dosing to prevent cavities
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Present oral hygiene instructions using real-time demonstrations on models and patient education tools
- Support patients in building sustainable oral care habits
Maintain a Safe & Efficient Clinical Environment
- Clean, sterilize, and package instruments according to protocol
- Disinfect dental chairs, cabinets, and equipment after each treatment
- Track and document inventory of dental instruments regularly
- Ensure supplies are available and reordered in a timely manner
- Serve as a Dental Assistant when needed to support clinic operations
- Answer sick calls, screen patients, and schedule dental visits efficiently
- Maintain accurate records in both manual and electronic systems
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an approved hygiene training program.
- Licensed to practice dental hygiene by the Texas Board of Dental Examiners.
