Dentist (DDS/DMD)

Crossroads Family Care is seeking a Dentist (DDS/DMD) who is passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered oral healthcare in a community-based setting. This role supports comprehensive dental services for patients across the lifespan and is ideal for a provider who values collaboration, prevention-focused care, and meaningful community impact. The Dentist will play a vital role in improving overall health outcomes through accessible and compassionate dental care.

• Provide comprehensive dental services including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedures
• Deliver preventive, restorative, and basic emergency dental care
• Educate patients on oral health, hygiene, and preventive practices
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic dental record
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and best practices in dental care
• Support community outreach, preventive programs, and oral health initiatives

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school
• Current Texas dental license or ability to obtain
• DEA registration (if applicable)
• BLS certification

• Commitment to community-based, patient-centered dental care
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based care environment
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Adaptability and openness to innovation and continuous improvement
• Community health center dental clinic setting
• May require travel between clinic locations as needed
• Fast-paced, patient-focused environment

• Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the clinic day
• Ability to perform dental examinations and procedures
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff
