Job Purpose:
The Endodontic Dental Assistant through HIRE INTRODUCTION LLC will support the endodontist in providing exceptional dental care to patients. The role involves assisting with endodontic procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The position is full-time and requires a TSBDE Registered Dental Assistant certification. While previous endodontic experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a commitment to learning and excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the endodontist during various endodontic procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
Manage patient records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Educate patients on post-procedure care and general oral health practices.
Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory and work area.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care and service.
Stay updated on the latest endodontic techniques and technologies through continuous education and training opportunities.
Required
Education:
TSBDE Registered Dental Assistant
Required Experience:
Experience working as a dental assistant in a clinical setting
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
Proficiency in using dental office software and technology
Preferred Experience:
Previous endodontic experience is preferred, but willing to train the right person
Experience in assisting with root canal procedures
Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols specific to endodontics
Required
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care Capability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team Proficiency in taking dental radiographs and impressions
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
