Job Purpose:

• Assist the endodontist during various endodontic procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
• Manage patient records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Educate patients on post-procedure care and general oral health practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory and work area.
• Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care and service.
• Stay updated on the latest endodontic techniques and technologies through continuous education and training opportunities.

• TSBDE Registered Dental Assistant

• Experience working as a dental assistant in a clinical setting
• Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in using dental office software and technology

• Previous endodontic experience is preferred, but willing to train the right person
• Experience in assisting with root canal procedures
• Knowledge of sterilization and infection control protocols specific to endodontics

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care
• Capability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Proficiency in taking dental radiographs and impressions
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
