• Professionally clean teeth including prophylaxis and scaling and root planing.
• Presents instructions on proper personal oral hygiene.
• Captures digital radiographs.
• Administers topical fluoride.
• Disinfects surfaces and dental equipment.
• Sterilizes dental instruments according to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
• Takes thorough inventory of instruments through daily counts and logs.
• Serve as Dental Assistant when needed.
• Proper record keeping and maintenance both in manual and automated systems.
• Ensure dental supplies are on hand and ordered in a timely manner.
• Answer sick call requests and schedules patients in a timely manner.
