Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC/BE Hem/Onc Physician to join our team in Waco, TX (BSW McClinton Cancer Center, 150 Hillcrest Medical Blvd.)
Position Highlights- Support Staff:
Join a team of 4 other physicians at a dedicated cancer center. Along with support from Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Navigators, Nurse Coordinators, Clerical and scheduling staff. - Patient census: 15-20 patients daily.
- Office hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday.
- Convenience of on-site lab, pharmacy, infusion center, and on-site radiation oncology.
- Referral base: primary care network, surgeons, and inpatient from connecting hospital.
- Opportunities for clinical trials. Academic affiliation:
Baylor College of Medicine - Temple. - Tools: EMR - EPIC and BEACON, DAX – AI Ambient Listening – improves clinical workflows and patient experience.
- We are open to recent Hem/Onc fellowship graduates.
- Immediate eligibility for health and wellness benefits. No waiting period.
- Time off: 27 days per year (PPTO), plus 6 federally recognized holidays and sick time, paid as regular salary.
- Retirement: 401(k) savings plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5%, 403(b), 457(f) 3% employer contribution; 100% vesting after 3 years.
- Licensure and dues: annual re-licensure fees and DEA renewal fees covered.
- CME: 15 workdays; $4,250 reimbursement per calendar year.

Qualifications- Doctor of Medicine degree.
- Hem Onc board certified/eligible.
- Licensed to practice medicine in Texas (TX Medical Board).
- Board certification in specialty per American Board of Medical Specialties or Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists (where applicable).
- Committed team player with favorable work/training history; focused on quality and collaboration with referring physicians and other professionals to provide optimum patient care.
