About the Clinician’s WorkdayThe physician associate will provide 24‑hour weekend call coverage for trauma surgery cases, managing one weekend in March and one weekend in April.
Responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, assisting in OR procedures, managing inpatient trauma cases, and collaborating with surgical, emergency department, and ICU teams. The clinician must maintain board certification and prescriptive authority while ensuring comprehensive documentation and smooth care transitions. Call duties require immediate response to trauma cases and urgent surgical needs throughout the 24‑hour shift periods.
