Job Type - Independent Practice Opportunity. This role is not an employee; physicians own and operate their practice entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical operational support.

The platform integrates revenue cycle management, accounting and finance, human resources, EHR support, payer contracting, compliance, supply‑chain logistics, and data intelligence.
Opportunity OverviewThis posting is for physicians interested in establishing or transitioning into an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians govern clinical operations, make patient care decisions, and set patient care policies. MedCBO does not direct patient care.
Physicians may establish or transition a practice in a preferred market, subject to state licensure and applicable regulatory requirements.
Physician Responsibilities- Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope
- Develop professional relationships within the medical community
- Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO participation as required
- Determine clinical services offered
- Manage clinical quality and patient experience
- Practice formation coordination
- Billing and collections management
- Payer contract negotiation
- Financial infrastructure and reporting
- Operational workflows and staffing systems
- Technology platform and implementation
- Revenue cycle management, coding and payer contracting support
- EHR, technology platform, telehealth and clinical workflow systems
- Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination
- Accounting, financial reporting, and practice financial infrastructure
- Human resources administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support
- Supply chain and vendor coordination
- MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided
- Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable
- Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates
- No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice
- Interest in the independent practice model
- Desire for practice ownership
- Community‑based care interest
- Leadership or program development interest
Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure.
CompensationCompensation is not a salary and is generated from the physician‑owned practice. Financial outcomes vary based on specialty scope, services offered, payer mix, physician activity, and local market conditions. Results are not guaranteed.
