This cancer center operates at the hospital providing specialized hematology and oncology services. The facility maintains established protocols for comprehensive cancer and blood disorder treatment delivery with coordinated care between the cancer center and hospital services.

New Braunfels offers diverse attractions centered around outdoor recreation and historic preservation. The area features water-based activities along the Comal River, the historic Gruene District with its renowned dance hall, and family-oriented destinations like Landa Park and Schlitterbahn Waterpark. The region provides access to Texas Hill Country attractions including wineries and barbecue establishments within the broader state tourism network.

Clinicians will provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM managing 16-18 patients per day. Clinical responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and coordinating ongoing care with 1:4 call coverage including 1 weeknight call per week and 1 weekend per month. Clinicians must maintain documentation through Epic EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
