Compensation: $120–$140/hour (based on experience) + bonus

Next Care Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Physician (MD/DO) to join our team in Marble Falls, Texas

You’ll practice in a fast‑paced urgent care setting treating a wide range of low to moderate acuity conditions while supported by experienced staff and accessible medical leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging
- Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
- Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
- Practice in alignment with Next Care clinical standards and values
- Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in accordance with Texas regulations
- Be available for consultation and support of APPs practicing in the clinic network
- Active, unrestricted Texas MD or DO license
- Board certified or board eligible (Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred)
- Active DEA license or ability to obtain
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- Active BLS certification
- EHR proficiency
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
- DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)
- Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
- Strong procedural skills including suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Experience with initial X‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read

Clinic Hours DetailClinic hours are Mon - Fri 8a - 8p and Sat‑Sun 9a - 4p. 12‑hour shifts are required, which includes evenings, rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
