Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia, Texas, is actively seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity beginning May 1, 2026. This is a vacancy due to department restructuring, and the client anticipates the need for multiple physicians moving forward.

Position Highlights:

• 24-hour ER shifts

• Average patients per 24-hour shift

• 20 shifts needed per month starting in May

• Ongoing coverage

• EMR: MEDHOST

• Trauma Level IV facility

• Stroke-certified hospital

• 7-bed Emergency Department

• Support staff: 2 RNs per shift

• Admissions required

• No APP supervision required

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

• Active Texas license required at time of submission

• ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS required- we can help with this!

Additional Details:

• Scheduled clinical hours only

• Travel and malpractice insurance provided

• Facility accepts multiple physicians

• Ongoing need with consistent monthly volume
