This inpatient facility operates as a Level II trauma center functioning at Level I capacity and supports a large tertiary surgical program that includes Obstetric coverage and dedicated Cardiovascular call support. The facility utilizes a care team model with CRNA support and maintains the clinical infrastructure necessary to deliver anesthesia services across multiple operating rooms. Two cardiovascular full-time physician positions are available with a start date of November 1, 2026.

Aboutthe Clinician's Workday
The adult cardiac anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia coverage under a care team supervision model at an inpatient and operating room facility in Texas, with on-site expectations consisting of solo cases. The schedule consists of a mix of on-site, restricted call, and unrestricted daily call including weekends, with hours to be determined. The surgical case mix encompasses a large tertiary surgical program with Obstetric coverage and dedicated Cardiovascular call support, and clinicians must be flexible to support all three facilities as needed.
A Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship and TEE certification are required; board certification in anesthesiology is negotiable, and applications from clinicians at varying experience levels will be considered.
