This inpatient facility operates as a Level III Trauma Center and supports a broad range of surgical services, including Cardiac, GI, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Bariatrics, as well as a Level II NICU. The facility utilizes a care team model with CRNA support and maintains the clinical infrastructure necessary to deliver anesthesia services across multiple operating rooms. Two cardiovascular full-time physician positions are available with a start date of November 1, 2026.

The area surrounding this Texas facility offers clinicians on assignment a range of outdoor and recreational attractions. Nearby destinations include the Barton Creek Greenbelt, Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve, and Barton Springs Pool, a natural spring-fed swimming pool. Clinicians may also enjoy Emma Long Metropolitan Park along the shores of Lake Austin, over six miles of outdoor recreation along Lady Bird Lake, Zilker Metropolitan Park, the Zilker Botanical Garden, the Austin Nature and Science Center, and golf at Austin Country Club, Barton Creek Country Club, and Lost Creek Country Club, as well as scenic views from Mount Bonnell.

The adult cardiac anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia coverage under a care team model, supervising 1 to 3 ORs with CRNA staff across inpatient and operating room settings. The schedule consists of a mix of on-site, restricted call, and unrestricted daily call including weekends. Case types include Level III Trauma, Level II NICU, Cardiac, GI, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Bariatrics.

Clinicians must hold a Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship and TEE certification; board certification in anesthesiology is negotiable.
