Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
VEA Health is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join the emergency department at Connally Memorial Medical Center in Floresville, Texas. This role combines community-based emergency medicine with supportive leadership, a collaborative team, and opportunities for long-term career growth.
Qualifications- ABEM certification preferred
- Several years of post-residency Emergency Department experience preferred
- ATLS not required for ABEM-certified physicians
- 12 months of Emergency Medicine case logs required
- 44-bed acute care hospital
- 10-bed Emergency Department
- Level IV Trauma Center
- Full-time schedule of 120 hours per month
- 12-hour physician shifts:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Community-based emergency medicine practice
- Collaborative and supportive care team
- Physician-owned and operated practice
- Accessible and supportive leadership
- Long-term growth potential
- Opportunity to advance into a Medical Director role
- 12 months of Emergency Medicine case logs required
- ATLS not required for ABEM-certified physicians
