On-site resources are in place to facilitate coordinated care for the cardiothoracic surgery service line.

About the Clinician's WorkdayThe cardiothoracic surgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage on a 1:1 call ratio across weekend shifts, Friday through Monday, beginning in November. Clinical responsibilities include CT Surgery coverage, support of a Level 2 trauma center, and backup coverage for Cath Lab procedures. This is an on-site inpatient assignment, and call coverage is a required component of the engagement. One hospital-based Nurse Practitioner is available to assist throughout each assigned coverage period.
