Location: Mexia, TX Employer: HPA Healthcare Pay: $300 per hour Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP
HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia, Texas.
This is a small, community-based Level IV trauma emergency department with approximately 30 patients per shift
, 10 ED beds, and approximately 2 admissions during the call period. The physician will provide independent emergency medicine coverage, evaluate and stabilize patients, manage admissions as appropriate, and care for unassigned patients presenting through the ED.
- Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours plus in-house call
- Patient Volume: Approximately 30 patients per shift
- ED Size: 10 beds
- Admissions: Approximately 2
- Trauma Designation: Level IV
- EMR: MEDHOST
- Call: In-house
- Texas License: Required at time of bid
- Credentialing: Approximately 15 days
- Temporary Privileges: Available
- APP Supervision: Not required
- Resident/Teaching Supervision: Not required
