Position: Instructor with Security Clearance
Location: Fort Bliss

Duties
* The incumbent provides undergraduate level instruction and mentorship in an adult learning environment for the Sergeants Major Course (SMC) at the U.S. Army NCO Academy (USANCOA).
* Instruct small groups of students in modern blended (technically equipped) classrooms by initiating course objectives.
* Plan, organize and provide oversight over all domains of training, coordination all actions necessary.
* Allocate resources within the classroom and plan work assignments.
* Develop the material for instructional design to effectively convey lesson content. Requirements Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. Qualifications Who May Apply:

Education and Experience:

Courses equivalent to a major in education, or in a subject-matter field appropriate to the position, such as Education, Defense, Strategic, and/or Intelligence Studies, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, etc. plus appropriate experience or additional course work that provided knowledge comparable to that normally acquired through the successful completion of the four-year course of study described in A above. Specialized

Experience:

One year of specialized experience which includes providing formal adult education on general military-focused topics using established lesson plans and material; participating on curriculum content reviews and lesson plan improvements; and delivering adult education in-person and virtually using automated classroom platforms and tools. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

OR

Education:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as:
Education, Defense, Strategic, and/or Intelligence Studies, Organizational Leadership, Business Administration, etc. (
