Elementary Math Teacher

Location: Comanche

Comanche Elementary School is seeking an upper elementary math position for the 2026-27 school year (grade 3, 4, or
5). The upper elementary math teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality, standards-based math instruction aligned with the TEKS Resource System using the Bluebonnet Math curriculum. The teacher collaborates closely with a grade-level and content team to plan, implement, assess, and refine instruction that meets the diverse academic needs of all learners. Analyze student data from formative and summative assessments to inform instruction and provide targeted interventions or enrichment.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and instructional goals. Integrate instructional technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance student understanding of mathematical concepts. Fulfill all duties and responsibilities in accordance with district policies and expectations.

Qualifications:

Valid Texas Teaching Certificate for elementary

( GT credentials a plus, but can be obtained during the school year)

This position is potentially eligible for the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) program. The allotment provides funding to pay highly effective teachers whose students show measurable improvement in academic growth. The average allotment paid to those teachers who earn TIA designation is approximately $6,500-$23,500/year in addition to their regular salary.
