Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)
- Demonstrated competency in core academic subject area assigned
- Special Knowledge/
Skills:- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Ability to supervise agriculture mechanic field experiences
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and learning
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning in the field of agricultural education
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in agricultural mechanics
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
$14,000 above state base
