Position: Assistant Professor of the Practice - Artificial Intelligence
Location: Prairie View

* Contribute to program assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement
* Support strategic initiatives related to AI and workforce development
* Mentor students pursuing applied AI careers
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field
* Two years of Teaching or professional training experience
* Significant industry experience applying AI technologies.
* Experience translating industry practices into academic curriculum.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
* Experience developing microcredentials or professional training programs.
* Experience with cloud AI platforms or MLOps.
* Experience managing instructional labs.
* Established industry network.
